Our Story: The Journey of Itinfy
Itinfy was born out of a passion for sharing the beauty of Egypt with the world. Founded by Eng Mohamed Refaei and Eng Ahmed Refaei, two brothers who studied in the USA, the idea for Itinfy emerged from their personal experiences. After graduating and returning home, their friends would frequently call them for advice and tips on exploring Egypt. As locals, Mohamed and Ahmed knew the best spots, hidden gems, and unique experiences that made Egypt truly special. Inspired by these interactions, they realized the need for an app that could provide travelers with the same insider knowledge, making them feel like they were exploring with a local. In September 2023, Itinfy was launched with the mission to help travelers discover Egypt in an authentic, enriching way.
